Can you believe we are halfway through the Strictly Competition?
Here are my thoughts on #Strictly Week Seven !
Alexandra and Gorka danced the Cha Cha to I Got The Music In Me by Marcia Hines
What a red hot start to the show. Alexandra came out with sass and style. Great hip action. A powerful performance !
Debbie and Giovanni danced the Tango to I Gotte Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas
Debbie and Giovanni’s Tango got a jaw dropping reaction from Craig 🙄 and the first 40 of the series. I gotta feeling that this was Debbie and Giovanni’s night. 👏
Gemma and Aljaz danced the Salsa to Sun Comes Up by Rudimental ft. James Arthur
Once again I didn’t think this was Gemma’s best dance . The Salsa is such a fast dance. Gemma appeared nervous entering the daring lifts . I think she is stronger in ballroom. But still an enjoyable performance.
Mollie and AJ danced the Foxtrot to Call Me Irresponsible by Connie Francis
An excellent song choice. Mollie’s topline was good and looked so elegant. It would be irresponsible not to love that beautiful foxtrot. Mollie is more comfortable in ballroom .
Ruth and Anton danced the Paso Doble to The Shady Dame from Seville by Julie Andrews
Ruth and Anton’s Paso Doble didn’t quite go to plan but this was entertainment at it’s finest. Anton’s imaginative routine with a dash of humor win the night.
Susan and Kevin danced the Jive to This Ole House by Shakin’ Stevens
I adore these two and I adore the jive. They can come round to my house anytime but not to paint to dance . Love the positive uplifting vibes they bring to the strictly dance floor each week. Well done Susan.
Aston and Janette danced the Viennese Waltz to Who’s Loving You by The Jackson 5
Aston and Janette always bring their unique style into each performance. I didn’t think it was Aston’s best dance but he has been delivering brilliant performances each week . They have so much more to give to this strictly series.
Davood and Nadiya danced the American Smooth to This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole
Davood and Nadiya brought a touch of hollywood glamour to the strictly ballroom with that stunning performance. The transitions were smooth. Davood led Nadiya like a pro. That lift was show stopping.👌
Joe and Katya danced the Charleston to Alexander’s Ragtime Band by Ella Fitzgerald
Loved this performance from beginning to end. A cheeky Charleston with crazy lifts. Top class choreography once again Katya. I agree with Shirley Ballas, Joe is the dark horse of the competition this year.
Jonnie and Oti danced the Salsa to Turn Me On by Kevin Lyttle
A fun filled Salsa with amazing lifts . Love the challenging choreography Oti presents Jonnie with each week. Jonnie looked like he was having so much fun and gave the dance 100%.
